Redundant Good Bye

For my Mother and Daughter

I thought I had to say Good Bye

Urgent desperation plagued me to try.

But then a voice spoke to me.

It whispered gently in the passing breeze.

The voice said to me,

“ My darling girl, we never have to say Good Bye Not even when you make me cry.

We are of the same blood and bone

This is writ in stone

In this life and in the next.

So smile darling daughter of mine for I am yours as you are mine.”

I love you - Forever …
